Westside Sports Clinic Specialises In

Knee Problems
Knee Problems
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is a major stabilising ligament in the knee that may tear whilst playing sport. The ACL has poor ability to heal and may cause instability. Other common sports injuries in knee are cartilage damage and meniscal tear. Knee injuries of sports may require surgical intervention that can be performed using open surgical or minimally invasive technique. Your surgeon will recommend you for physical therapy to strengthen your muscles, improve elasticity and improve the movements of the bones and joints.

Shoulder Problems
Rotator Cuff Tear, Shoulder Impingement, Shoulder Instability & More
Shoulder Problems
Pain or discomfort in your shoulders while playing your favourite sports such as tennis, basketball and gymnastics may be because of a torn or inflamed ligament in your shoulder or shoulder instability. These may be caused by overuse of shoulder while playing sports. Simple pain or acute injuries may be treated with conservative treatment, and chronic or severe injuries may require surgical treatment.

Hip Conditions
Hip Pain, Inflammatory Arthritis, Osteoarthritis & More
Hip Conditions
Osteoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis, and osteonecrosis are common causes of hip pain. In athletes soft tissue injury to the labrum, tendons, and ligaments can occur. Rehabilitation programs and physiotherapy is often recommended following the medical intervention where you need to perform certain exercises to strengthen the muscles and improve the movements.

Joint Replacement
Total, Custom, Computer Assisted & Robotic Joint Replacement
Joint Replacement
Joints are formed by the ends of two or more bones connected by tissue called cartilage. Healthy cartilage serves as a protective cushion, allowing smooth and low-friction movement of the joint. If the cartilage becomes damaged by disease or injury, the tissues around the joint become inflamed, causing pain. With time, the cartilage wears away, allowing the rough edges of bone to rub against each other, causing more pain.
